Lisa DeConinck PT, DPT, CKTP

Physical Therapist

Lisa DeConinck has over 25 years of experience as a physical therapist. She received her undergraduate degree from Kalamazoo College before attending the University of Michigan where she received her Masters in Physical Therapy in 1995 and her Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy in 2011. With over 20 years of clinical experience in outpatient orthopedics, Lisa has extensive experience in ACL and joint replacement rehabilitation. Her continuing education courses have focused on clinical orthopedics with a special interest in functional closed kinetic chain exercises, manual therapy, joint mobilizations of the extremities, and, most recently, kinesio taping. Lisa is a credentialed clinical instructor by the American Physical Therapy Association and Certified Kinesio Taping Practitioner. She has also completed the Stott Pilates intensive mat and reformer instructor training programs as well as completed the Otago Exercise Program: Falls Prevention Training certification. She is certified in instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization in FMT Blades and FMT Blades Advanced through Rocktape. Lisa has most recently become a LSVT BIG certified Physical Therapist for the treatment of Parkinson’s Disease or other neurological conditions involving freezing of gait, mobility, or other ADL’s.
